Give to NCCS this holiday season just by shopping or searching!
Did you know that you can donate to NCCS simply by searching the Internet or shopping online?
GoodSearch is a Yahoo-powered search engine that donates half its advertising revenue – about a penny per search – to the charities its users designate.
GoodShop is a new online shopping mall that donates up to 30 percent of each purchase to your favorite cause! Every time you place an order at one of your favorite stores, you’ll be supporting your favorite cause. Be sure to indicate you are supporting the National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship on the GoodShop Web site. NOTE: You must click through GoodShop to your designated store’s Web site for the contribution to be directed to NCCS. Get started >>
NCCS is grateful, especially at this time of year, for your support of our mission to advocate for quality cancer care. _______________________________________________

Toolbox Program Highlight: Solving Problems
Cancer treatment can put a lot of physical, emotional and social demands on a survivor and their loved ones. Even at the time of diagnosis, survivors might find themselves wondering how to tell their families and friends about their cancer or determining how to adjust their work schedule to accommodate chemotherapy. When facing these issues and many others, cancer survivors must develop and use their problem solving skills. The five-step process covered in this program helps survivors make progress, build confidence in their abilities, and improve the healing process. Listen now >>
Holiday Care Package
This holiday season, if you think cancer care planning will help improve the way cancer care is delivered to you, your loved ones, and people just like you, then express your support!
The Comprehensive Cancer Care Improvement Act or CCCIA (S. 1773/H.R. 1844) is designed to make cancer care planning and coordination of care for people diagnosed with cancer a part of regular cancer care. It would accomplish this by creating a Medicare benefit for cancer care planning through the creation of treatment plans and summaries and follow-up survivorship care plans by healthcare professionals — an essential service that is not currently offered to the majority of America’s 12 million cancer survivors or the additional 1.5 million people who will be diagnosed this year. Urge your senators and representative to co-sponsor CCCIA >> _______________________________________________
