Welcome
Cancer Advocacy Now! is a grassroots legislative advocacy network that understands that public policy decisions at the national level can affect cancer care in your community. Cancer Advocacy Now! works every day so that your voice -- the voice of America's 10 million cancer survivors and the millions more who care for them will be heard in Washington, DC and in forums where health care policy is decided.
Together, we can ensure that our government is more responsive to the needs of Americans dealing with cancer. The network advocates for cancer-related issues such as better access to high-quality therapies, care and clinical trials; Medicare coverage and reimbursement for anti-cancer drugs and treatments; timely review and approval of next-generation therapies by the Food & Drug Administration (FDA); and improving palliative and end-of-life care to help ease the suffering from this devastating disease.

Cancer Advocacy Now! is a project of the National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship (NCCS). NCCS is the oldest survivor-led organization working on behalf of people with all types of cancer and their families. Its mission is to advocate for quality cancer care for all Americans. By educating those affected by cancer with award-winning programs like The Cancer Survival Toolbox, by speaking out and by speaking up about quality cancer care, NCCS is empowering every cancer survivor.*
*Since its founding in 1986, NCCS has held that "from the moment of discovery and for the balance of life, an individual diagnosed with cancer is a survivor." NCCS extends its definition of survivor to recognize that family members, friends and caregivers who share the burden that cancer places on one in four American families also are survivors.
